What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is performed by Chiropractors who are qualified to:
Diagnose, treat and manage conditions relating to joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves, while promoting good nervous system function.
Chiropractors treat:
Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet, headaches and migraine.
Chiropractic treatment involves:
Working on the joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles of the body, concentrating particularly on the spine. They use their hands to make gentle, specific adjustments (the Chiropractic word for manipulation), to improve the efficiency of the nervous system and release the body’s natural healing ability. Our Chiropractors also use other techniques such as mobilisation, blocking, cranial and soft tissue work (including fascial release, trigger point therapy, active release techniques, post isometric relaxation and much more).
How does Chiropractic treatment work:
Restores the body to ‘normal function’ by addressing the cause, so healing can progress. Chiropractic treatment improves function, promotes healing and relieves pain. by treating the cause they reduce the chance of recurring or worsening symptoms.
With the intended secondary benefit of:
